When it comes to reducing obesity, it is super important to focus on what you add to your diet and what you avoid.
Here
is a list of nine common items you will want to limit or cut back on:
1.
Sugary drinks: sweet tea, soda, energy drinks, and fruit juices.
2.
Foods highly processed: Instant noodles, chips, and packaged snacks.
3.
Refined carbohydrates: White rice, white bread, pastries, and sugary cereals.
4.
Fast food: especially fried items like burgers, fries, and fried items.
5.
High-calorie desserts: ice cream, cakes, cookies, candy.
6.
Processed meats: Sausages, bacon, and deli meat.
7.
Alcohol: especially beer and sugary cocktails.
8.
Low-fat processed foods: They often replace fat with sugar.
9.
Trans-fats: found in fried foods, some margarine, and baked goods.
The problem is not avoid sugar drinks like coffee. The problem when you buy a coffee without sugar and your friend wants to drink he requests to add sugar to taste your coffee. And of course you can't refuse that. After that you may drink coffee with sugar.

ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of Sugars. I limit my intake and simply don't most of the times. Besides the obesity issue, sugars irritate me once I intake them and which is why I don't use.
ReplyDeleteI did not know that low-fat processed foods usually have more sugar. Thanks for the headsup.
