Breakfast is considered the most important, because it powers your body throughout the day. Skipping it can affect our health, brain function, and overall lifestyle.

Importance of Breakfast:

1. Starts the body with energy

* The body does not get any food while we sleep at night.

* Breakfast provides the body with primary energy.

2. Helps with brain function

* If you skip breakfast, it can lead to decreased attention and memory loss.

* Students and those with high workloads need it for memory and sharp focus.

3. Helps with weight control

* If you skip breakfast, you are likely to eat more in the afternoon.

* A breakfast stimulates metabolism and also helps lose weight.

4. Keeps blood sugar stable

* If diabetics skip breakfast, it can increase insulin resistance

* Breakfast provides stability in blood sugar

5. Beneficial nutrients enter the body

* Through breakfast, we can get important nutrients like fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals

Examples of good breakfasts:

Idli with Sambar or Chutney, Oats, fruits, milk, Seven-grain porridge, Whole wheat toast, Yogurt with fruits and ghee, and peanuts

Things to avoid:

* Skipping breakfast by drinking only green coffee/tea.

* Excessive consumption of oily, sugary, bread-like foods.

* Eating breakfast every day is good for your body and mind.
